Hello everyone! 🌞

Today, I’d like to introduce the SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) experience in the mangrove forests of the Urauchi and Utara rivers! 🚣‍♀️

Starting from the Urauchi River and entering the mangroves of the Utara River, you’ll be greeted by a natural tunnel where the sunlight filters beautifully through the trees.

The tranquil atmosphere and the changing scents, ranging from sweet to smoky, depending on the wind, make for a truly special experience.

You’ll also encounter trees from the Rhizophoraceae family, including a 350-year-old giant *Ohirugi* tree, offering a profound connection to nature’s grandeur.

During your paddle, there’s a chance to visit the historic Utara Coal Mine ruins, adding an educational aspect to this adventure. Not only will you enjoy the serene environment, but you’ll also gain insight into Iriomote’s deep history.

This area is only accessible by SUP or kayak, making it an exclusive spot to unwind and appreciate the beauty of the mangrove jungle. Don’t miss the chance to experience it all through a guided tour!✨
