Hello, everyone!

Today, I’d like to share my trip to Hateruma Island, the southernmost inhabited island of Japan🏝️.

Hateruma Island, a small gem in the Yaeyama archipelago, is known for its stunning natural beauty.

The crystal-clear blue waters, white sandy beaches, and expansive skies all come together to captivate everyone who visits✨.

One of the best ways to start your day on Hateruma Island is by watching the sunrise.

If you wake up early and head to the eastern side of the island, you’ll witness the sun slowly rising from beyond the horizon.

The sky is painted in shades of pink and orange, reflecting off the ocean—a breathtaking moment that leaves you in awe of nature’s grandeur🌅.

Watching the sunrise on Hateruma Island is a truly special experience, where you can soak in the serenity and beauty of the surroundings.

Next, I visited the monument marking the southernmost point of Japan!🗿

This monument stands at the southern tip of the island, symbolizing the southernmost location of any inhabited island in Japan.

Surrounded by stunning ocean views and a vast horizon, it’s an emotional and inspiring spot to realize just how far you’ve come🌊.

Taking a commemorative photo by the monument is a must to remember this unique moment📸.

While exploring the island, you’ll encounter the warm smiles of the locals and be charmed by the sight of goats and cows leisurely grazing in the fields🐐.

Hateruma Island is also famous for “Nishi hama,” a beautiful spot where you can dive into the azure waters or enjoy some snorkeling fun!🐠

Although it’s a small island, Hateruma is filled with unique and captivating experiences. It’s the perfect place to unwind and refresh your spirit at your own pace🌺.

If you ever have the chance, be sure to visit Hateruma Island, witness its stunning sunrise, and stand at the southernmost point of Japan to fully enjoy all the island has to offer😊.
