It takes about 3 and half hours from Tokyo to Ishigaki Island by plane, to Iriomote Island about 45 minutes by ferry from Ishigaki Island.
Please come to exotic Iriomote Island that is not like any other place in Japan.

*During winter, some ferries bound for Uehara port are often cancelled. In those cases, please notify that you want to go to Uehara port when buying the ticket. You can get a free bus ticket from Ohara port to Uehara port when you ride on the ferry bound for Ohara port.
1.To Ishigaki Island by plane
Please come to Ishigaki airport via direct flight to Ishigaki Island or transferring via Naha airport.
2.From Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island by ferry.
Please come to Iriomote Island using “Yaeyama sightseeing ferry” or a ferry run by “Anei Kanko” from Ishigaki Rito terminal.
Both ferries are fine
It takes about 40 to 50 minutes by ferry from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island.
Please take a bus, taxi or rental car to come to Ishigaki port from Ishigaki Island.

In those cases, please notify that you want to go to Uehara port when buying the ticket.
You can get a free bus ticket from Ohara port to Uehara port when you ride on the ferry bound for Ohara port.
３.Movement within the island
Not widely known but, Iriomote Island is the second largest island next to the main island in Okinawa prefecture.
You surely need a rental car when moving around this island.
We recommend making a reservation beforehand.
When you go on a tour or eat a meal, there are plenty of facilities that will provide you transportation service if you ask beforehand.
*Please bring your driver’s license when you rent a car and your international driver’s license when you come from abroad.
